These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website markacode.com and every product and service offered by Markacode Technologies (“Markacode”, “we”, “us”, “our”), including WordPress plugins, browser extensions, SaaS platforms, web apps, desktop software, games and developer tools (together, the “Products”). By visiting our website, downloading, installing, purchasing or using any Product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or Products.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or using any Product, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms, together with any additional terms shown at the time of purchase or download (for example, a product-specific license or end-user license agreement). If there is a conflict between these Terms and a product-specific agreement, the product-specific agreement applies to that Product.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your country, to purchase or enter into agreements with us. If you use our Products on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
3. License to Use Our Products
Subject to these Terms and payment of any applicable fees, Markacode grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and use the Product for its intended purpose. Products are licensed, not sold. The scope of your license depends on the plan you choose, such as the number of websites, sites or devices covered, and is shown at the time of purchase.
WordPress plugins
Our WordPress plugins are distributed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) where stated. The GPL applies to the plugin code. Access to updates, support and license keys is a service provided by Markacode and is subject to an active license and these Terms.
4. Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Use a license on more websites, sites, seats or devices than your plan allows.
- Resell, sublicense, share or publicly distribute license keys, account credentials or paid Product files in a way that bypasses the licensing system.
- Remove, disable or tamper with licensing, update or security features of a Product.
- Use a Product for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful or abusive purposes, or to infringe the rights of others.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers, systems, accounts or data, or interfere with their operation.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code from any non-open-source part of a Product, except where the law permits it.
- Falsely present a Product as your own work or remove Markacode copyright and attribution notices.
5. Purchases, Licenses and Payments
Prices are displayed on our website or checkout page and may change at any time. A price change does not affect a purchase you have already completed.
- Payment processing: Payments for some Products are handled by third-party payment and licensing providers, such as Freemius, which may act as the seller or merchant of record. Your payment information is processed by that provider under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not store full card details.
- Subscriptions and renewals: Annual or recurring licenses renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your account or through the checkout provider’s customer portal.
- Taxes: Prices may exclude VAT, sales tax or other applicable taxes, which are added at checkout where required.
- Expired licenses: If a license expires, the Product normally continues to work, but access to updates, support and some premium features may stop until you renew.
6. Refunds
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If a Product does not work as described and we are unable to fix the problem, you may request a refund within 14 days of your original purchase by contacting info@markacode.com with your order details and a short description of the issue.
Refunds are not available for renewals after the refund period, for issues caused by misuse or third-party conflicts we cannot reasonably resolve, or where a request is made in bad faith. Where a third-party provider processes the payment, the refund may be issued through that provider.
7. Updates, Support and Availability
We aim to keep our Products compatible and secure and to improve them over time. We may add, change or remove features, release updates, or discontinue a Product with reasonable notice where possible.
Support is provided by email at info@markacode.com. Please include the Product name, version and a clear description of your issue. We aim to respond promptly but do not guarantee specific response times unless stated in your plan. Support covers the Product itself and does not include custom development, server configuration or issues caused by third-party code unless agreed in writing.
8. User Accounts
Some Products and services require an account. You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your login details confidential, and for all activity under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Intellectual Property
All rights, title and interest in the Products, our website, brand names, logos, designs, documentation and original content belong to Markacode Technologies or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you. Any content, data or websites you create using our Products remain yours.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them to improve our Products without obligation to you.
10. Third-Party Services
Our Products and website may work with or link to third-party software and services, including WordPress, hosting providers, payment processors, analytics and other plugins or APIs. These are outside our control. We are not responsible for their availability, content, security or policies, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
11. Privacy and Data
We care about transparency in what our Products do and collect. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please read it to understand what information we collect, how we use it and your choices.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Markacode disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that a Product will be uninterrupted, error-free, fully secure, or compatible with every theme, plugin, browser, device or hosting environment. You are responsible for testing Products on a staging environment and keeping regular backups before installing or updating them on a live site.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Markacode Technologies, its owners, team members and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use our website or Products, even if we were told such damage was possible.
Our total liability for any claim relating to a Product will not exceed the amount you paid us for that Product in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold harmless Markacode Technologies and its team from any claims, losses, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of a Product, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
15. Termination
You may stop using our Products at any time. We may suspend or terminate your license or access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, misuse the Products or fail to pay applicable fees. On termination, your right to use the Products and any related license keys ends, and you must stop using and delete paid Product files where required. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law) will continue to apply.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Pakistan. Nothing here limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the laws of your own country.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, may notify you by email or through our website. Your continued use of our website or Products after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
