1. Who We Are
Markacode Technologies is a software company that builds WordPress plugins, browser extensions, SaaS platforms, web apps, desktop software, games and developer tools. Our website address is https://markacode.com. For privacy questions, you can reach us at info@markacode.com.
2. Information We Collect
We keep data collection to what is needed to run our website, deliver our Products and support our customers. Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following.
Information you give us
- Contact and support requests: your name, email address, the Product you are asking about and any details you include when you email us or use a contact form.
- Account and purchase details: name, email address, billing country and order information when you buy or register for a Product.
- Comments: the details in the comment form, plus your IP address and browser user agent string, which help us detect spam.
- Feedback and messages: anything else you choose to send us.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page and pages visited.
- Usage data: basic information about how you use our website, such as pages viewed and time spent, which helps us improve it.
- Product data: for licensed Products, limited technical information described in section 4.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as health data, government ID numbers or full payment card details.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, license, activate and maintain our Products.
- To process orders, renewals and refunds.
- To respond to support requests and communicate with you about your account, updates and security notices.
- To detect and prevent spam, fraud, abuse and license misuse.
- To understand how our website and Products are used so we can improve them.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- To send product news or offers, only where you have agreed or where the law allows. You can opt out at any time.
4. Our Products and Licensing
Our premium WordPress plugins are licensed and updated through a third-party licensing and commerce platform, Freemius. When you activate a licensed plugin, the platform may receive information needed to manage your license and deliver updates, such as:
- your license key and plan;
- your name and email address (if you opt in or register);
- the URL of the website where the plugin is installed;
- the plugin version, WordPress version, PHP version and similar environment details used for compatibility and support.
Where a Product offers optional diagnostic or usage sharing, it is shown clearly and you can opt out or disconnect your account from within the Product. Our other Products, such as browser extensions, desktop software, web apps, SaaS platforms and games, may collect limited data needed to operate and may have their own privacy details, which we will show at download, installation or sign-up. If a Product-specific notice conflicts with this Policy, the Product-specific notice applies to that Product.
The content of your own WordPress website, including your posts, pages, translations and customer data, stays on your server. We do not receive or store it unless you choose to send it to us, for example when sharing it for support.
5. Payments
Payments for our Products are processed by third-party payment providers, such as Freemius, which may act as the seller or merchant of record. Your card or payment details are entered on their secure checkout and handled under their own terms and privacy policy. Markacode does not receive or store your full card number. We may receive order details such as your name, email address, country, plan purchased and payment status.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Login cookies last for two days, or up to two weeks if you select “Remember Me”. Screen options cookies last for one year. These are removed when you log out.

14. Changes to This Policy
